Ben Roy performed at the 2010 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Ben was the true stand-out at the New Faces show. One of the fastest rising comics, he was recently featured in the book Mock Stars: Indie Comedy and The Dangerously Funny, alongside comedy greats Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford and Fred Armisen.
Author John Wenzel described him as gloriously erratic, mixing Louis Black's quivering indignation with Bill Hicks's vitriol and David Cross's unapologetic misanthropy. According to The Onion, Roy is like a skinny, punk-rock Sam Kinison. Ben is also a member of Wrist Deep Productions, hosts of the wildly popular and controversial show Los Comicos Super Hilariosos. Ben has broken through with his unique blend of sarcastic, observational and high-energy humour. A native of Maine, Roy currently resides in Colorado; he will be moving to New York City this fall.
